The compression test is mainly used for characterizing foams. The test specimen is mounted to the support and tested using a special compression fin. Altering the mass and the test velocity a wide range of energy to deform the test specimen can be used.

  • test specimen geometry: cube with edge length of 25 mm
  • velocity of the pendulum: 1 - 4.4 m/s
  • sampling length: 25 mm.
